Accounts & sessions
The desktop client manages multiple controller accounts and switches between them from a side hotbar. Not installed yet? See Install the desktop client.
Add an account
Section titled “Add an account”- Launch the app and enter your controller address (for example
https://tessera.example.com). - Sign in with a username and password, or with an OIDC provider button.
- The account appears in the left hotbar. Add more accounts the same way and switch between them with a click; right-click an account to remove it.
You can tick Remember me to stay signed in across restarts; the session can be revoked centrally by an administrator at any time.
Sessions and re-authentication
Section titled “Sessions and re-authentication”If a session expires, clicking that account takes you straight to a re-login for that account, with its address and username pre-filled — signing in updates the same account rather than creating a duplicate. Clicking + always starts a fresh, blank account.
We would like to count visits with Google Analytics, which needs a cookie. Nothing is loaded and nothing is stored unless you accept. What this sets.
