Projects and groups organize your targets into a tree in the console and give access grants something larger than a single target to point at.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”A project is a logical container — an environment, a team, or a tenant. Each target can belong to one project. Manage them under Projects: create, rename, or add a description.
Groups
Section titled “Groups”A group is a label for arranging targets within the console — for example web, databases, or edge. A target can belong to one group, independent of its project, so the same group name can appear across projects.
Why they matter for access
Section titled “Why they matter for access”Grants can be scoped to all targets, all targets of one kind (all SSH, all databases, all RDP, or all clusters), a project, a group, or a single target. Put your targets into sensible projects and groups and you can grant access broadly and safely — for example, read-only on the whole staging project, or read-write on the databases group — and new targets added to that scope inherit the grant automatically.
